I have a Sony Ericsson touch screen phone G900 phone that got dropped, now the touch screen will not respond. There are several videos on You Tube that give details on how to fix it but I have neither the tools are dexterity. If you could fix it I could donate and old but working Razor V3, and a working Matrix (from the first movie phone) or some cash.

Send me the links you found and I'll take a look at it. I have a lot of tools, and may be able to repair it but I need to see what it looks like first to be sure.

As far as donations, I prefer used or old computer components as I use these when I repair other computers. Basically my way of recycling old parts and keeping the cost down to others as much as possible. I really don't have a need for old cell phones. My suggestion on those is to post them on Ramsteinyardsales.com either for free or try to get some money for them. Other than that, any dollar amount for donations works good as well. This helps me cover the costs of maintaining this site, cell phone charges, and allows me to provide on site support for the community. Without donations, I would not be able to provide this kind of support. The service I provide is for free, but the donations from the community are really what allows this service to exist.

I think something came loose because I can hear it moving when I shake it.

I'll take a look when I get home tonight and let you know. If I think I can repair it, we can make arrangements for you to drop it off to me, but it might be better to wait at least till Monday as there is a bad snow storm suppose to be headed this way tonight.

Also, I hope you don't mind but I changed the subject to make it more searchable for others having similiar problems. This way if there is a fix, they can see the solution.

I looked at the Videos and did some research as well. I can take it apart and take a look around inside to see if something broke off. I can also clean the contacts, but I can't guarentee that this will fix the problem. It may be the LCD Digitizer that is broke. If that is the case, you'll have to purchase one and probably ebay will be the best way to get one. I can do the work but I can't make any guarentees. I just want to make sure you are clear on that before I start as I'm not a buisness. I'm here to help and provide my technical expertise.
