For those of you that have Windows 7, please take a moment to make a image and or backup of your system. It's about the easiest thing to do in Windows 7 ans will save you time and hassle down the road. Just click the Windows round Start button and in the search bar type in backup and hit enter.
In the Backup and Restore window, click on create a system image if you haven't made one yet, otherwise click on Set up backup to begin the backup wizard.
Your computer will scan for backup locations and then give you the option of where to place the image. I recommend you burn it to a CD or DVD drive. If more than one disk is needed, the wizard will let you know.
You will step through a few more steps and Windows will estimate how much space your backup image will need. Just finish off with the simple wizard and your backup will begin. Once the image is created, you will now be able to recover your system in the same exact state it was when you created this image. You may need this when your computer decides to die, Windows crashes, or your hard drive has decided to end its life.
If you have any problems or questions please let me know, but whatever you do, please back up your data. I hate hearing how people lose all their pictures and videos that they had stored on the computers but never made backup copies of the files. Sometimes its people’s life work that is lost. Please don't let that be you.
