I would like to thank you for working hard to fix my laptop. I was sure that it was going to end up in the trash. The screen was completely white because the fan broke and the laptop was over-heating. I was afraid that my hard drive was done. We told Sony what the problem was and they said that it would cost from around $500 or more to fix. This is about half the price of the laptop, so this was not an option for us. My husband found the KMC Tech Guy on Ramstein Yard Sales. He contacted us often to let us know the status. Later, the same night we dropped of the computer, he already had the fan working, but it was not looking good for the screen. He did not give up and told us that we could order a screen and he would try to fix it, but it was a long shot. He was able to install a new screen and get the computer working again. We are very thankful that he was honest with us every step of the way and that he did everything he could to fix the computer. Thanks KMCTECHGUY !

The first part was a thanks from my wife...here is mine!

When my wife told me what was wrong with the laptop I contacted Sony/Aafes/Moms for some advice/assistance. After being told the price to determine/fix the problem(s) I began looking on ramsteinyardsales for a laptop sold for parts. I left it sit on a shelf for a few weeks not knowing what I should do without an extended warranty and not having a lot of money to fix it.

Moms has fixed several things for me and did an excellent job but they are pretty pricey. Sony is just crazy and wanted to fix my issues and charge me 1/2 of what I paid for the whole thing brand new. I began to search on ramsteinyardsales and seen the add for kmctechguy. I sent a little email and within hours had suggestions. After attempting his request and providing very little feedback Mr. Britt was able to give me an idea of what was wrong but without physically taking a look, it was hard to pinpoint the exact issue. We needed a fan and a new LCD monitor. The fan was broke and the screen would turn all white and at the time she thought it was freezing.

A few weeks ago I met up with him and t urns out the fan was broke causing the system to shutdown without causing further damage to the interior parts. The screen was turning white because the LCD screen was broke. Mr. Britt fixed the fan free of charge and found a new screen on ebay for 90 bucks. Needless to say a couple hundred dollars and it's like new.

I am very thankful someone like Mr. Britt is around. One thing I hope people understand is that you could never in a million years find business like this for free so please keep that in mind when he does help you out. I would have paid 500 to get it fixed and to me saving a couple hundred bucks was well worth it. I got the customer service I expect from a huge marketing company for half the price.

Thanks again kmctechguy!!You, your family and your dogs have a good Christmas Season!!

God Bless

The Rosemans
