Just a quick note to let everyone know that I do build Computers and I have been building them since 1995. I'm not an expert as I don't do this everyday, but I do know a lot. I have built all of my desktop systems, including a Windows Home Server. I've got 4 other built PCs in the house. The only PC I didn't build was my laptop.

4 members so far in the PC Builder group. So what's the latest project you have done? Anyone built a super rig lately? I would love to hear about it if you have. I'v ejust been busy fixing all these computers that I haven't had the time to build a new one yet. But I did but Windows 7 after my RC1 is just about to expire. Now I just need to find the time to do the clean install.

If you need assistance with laptops, I'll be happy to offer advice as I can. I have rebuild both HP and Dell laptops (hundreds of them) and have some insight.

Been busy fixing computers. I just repaired and old Gateway 400 and an HP mini. Both had physical hard drive problems which was evident by the clicking and loud noises it made when it was running. The gateway was an easy fix, but the HP mini was a pain. The hard drive sits under the keyboard on the mini, and the screws to remove the keyboard are extremly small. But I was able to fix them both without a problem.

Been busy installing Windows 7 RC1 on a few computers. Everyone seems to love it so far. If you need help getting it, let me know. Release date for Windows 7 is October 22nd. If you didn't go to Windows Vista, I don't blame you as I hated it, but I love Windows 7. Get it and you won't regreat it. It is really that good.
