I guess everyone's network is working fine, so I would like to ask everyone what their Internet speed is. My DSL is at 384Kbs download rate. I can't wait for it to get upgraded. Are you running faster or slower than me?

348kbs? Do you mean Mbs? Mine is running 5734 Kbs.

No, I mean 384Kbs. Your Internet is about 15 times faster than mine. I sure hope Telekom upgrades our neighborhood soon.

I did finally get my network in the house redone. I had some problems with one of my wireless routers, but updated the firmware and that seems to have solved the issue.

Need to redo the network in my house. My plan is to use a DSL wired router only in the attic where all my network cables come in. I will turn off the DHCP server and set up a 32bit mask so that it only talks to my main wireless router that I will be using in the house. I will use the 4 switch ports on the DSL router to connect my wireless router in the basement, wireless router on 1st floor, and wireless router on top floor. My router on the 1st floor will be setup for DHCP and will be the main router in the house. I will turn off DHCP on the rest of the routers so they are used as an access point only. I will have the same SSID and password on all routers so that I can rome between wireless networks. This will ensure that my kids can use their PSPs, I can use my laptops, and that all computers in the house can access the network over cable or wireless. My top floor and basement floor are wireless G routers, and the 1st floor router in the middle is wireless N. This should ensure I have excellent range all over the house. Now I just wish I could get a faster connection than 384Kb.
