Through the Microsoft Home Use Program, Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 is available for $9.95. Unfortunately for those associated with the Army, the Microsoft Home Use Program ended when with the expiration of the Army Microsoft Enterprise License Agreement (MS ELA-1). I have been told that members of the Air Force are still eligible for the Home Use Program. If you have information on this, please let me know so I can provide the exact procedures on how to get this great deal.

I went down to the KMCC PX/BX today and found Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Student Edition. The Price was $79.95 and I thought that it was a good price, but I didn't really need it until I looked closely at the box and realized this was a family pack which allows you to install it on 3 computers. Now if you look at it that way, it ends up being less than $27 a copy. Now that's a great deal and worth getting so I picked up a copy. Now it only has the basic office package like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote but for most of us, that's all we need. If you have any questions let me know, but if you need to get a copy of Microsoft Office, I would hurry down to your local PX/BX and see if you can't still pick up a copy.
