2nd Computer Giveaway

[UPDATE 3] We have a winner! Congratulations to mysti with an amazing 451 votes. This was crazy and fun to watch. I hope mysti will get to enjoy it. In a close second was gojujeff with a 420 votes. These two were hard at it trying to win the computer. Now I'm not sure what happened to the third place Gary5462. I guess someone forgot to get the word out. I will be making arrangements with mysti to pick up the computer. I would also like to say that a friend of mine has decided to give away one of his old computers to gojujeff as he was moved by this race and wanted to give the second place person something as well. I will be trying to collect another monitor, keyboard and mouse for this system. It may be a little bit still, but it looks like we will have 2 winners. For anyone else that participated and didn't win, including Gary5462, you are welcomed to try again the next time I give away another system which I hope will be soon. Take care and thank you everyone for voting.

[UPDATE 2] It seems there has been a lot of debate and issues about the contest or who should win on RYS. The contest will stay the way it is. Earlier today I did notice that I was getting more votes than I was getting site visits which told me that somehow the voting system may have been circumvented. This is something I overlooked, so I have updated the voting system. When I did the update, I moved the current votes to the new system. I did not make any modifications to the votes already posted. Now that I have made the changes, the votes are matching the site visit counts so I'm fairly sure this has fixed that issue. The contest will stay the way it is. Please continue to vote for the person you want to win, but I ask everyone to please be considerate to each contestant. This contest is open to US ID card holders only which means the person that wins is supporting the US military in one form or another. Let's support eachother as a military community and foster that support regardless if you are a US Citizen. Some of our Airmen, Soldiers, Seamen, and Mairines  are not US Citizens but they serve our country as some hope to become American. Some of the spouses are not American, but they support the troops and our country. Even our local notional support may not be Americans, but they too support the USA. All I ask is that we show a little more respect towards eachother and help eachother out. In the end, someone will get this computer and I will give another one away. I also want to say thank you to all that have been supportive and to all those that have donated. I know we can rise above the negative and make something postive and good happen for the community. Good luck to all the current contestants and I look forward to doing this again.

[UPDATE] 3 users have been selected by my kids for the chance to win a computer. There is now a poll on the front page with the 3 users selected being gojujeff, Gary5462, and

I'm happy to say that I'm giving away another computer in great working condition. This one is a rebuilt Compaq Presario 6000 with a few additional upgrades. This contest is open to only US ID card holders and their families and the winner must be willing to pick up the Computer in the Kaiserslautern area. You can find out more and read the rules on my support forum here http://www.kmctechguy.com/forums/2nd-free-computer-giveaway-.html. Good Luck and I look forward to giving this away to the lucky winner.
